WorkedMy80 is not your state agency, not an insurer, and not a law firm. It is a tool that helps you keep your own records and understand your own deadlines.
Only your state decides whether you qualify for Medicaid or SNAP. Nothing in this app changes that, and nothing in this app is a promise about what your state will do.
By using WorkedMy80 you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the app.
You must be 18 or older, or using it with the help of a parent or guardian.
A record keeper and a reminder. It lets you log hours, store your own proof, get a plain-language reading of a letter, and be reminded before a deadline. It puts your paperwork in order and points you at your state's own portal or phone number.
We research each state's rules, record where we got them, and show you the date we last checked. We re-check them on a schedule. Even so, rules change, states publish contradictory guidance, and mistakes are possible.
Treat your state's own letter and portal as the final word. If what we show disagrees with what your state tells you, your state is right and we want to know: there is a "report a wrong rule" button on every screen that shows one, and we would rather hear about it than not.
When you photograph a pay stub or a letter, software reads it and proposes what it found. It gets things wrong sometimes. That is why nothing counts toward your hours until you confirm it, and why we show you what it read rather than quietly filing it. Check it before you rely on it.
The app is free for individuals, and we intend to keep it that way. We may later offer a paid tier for someone managing several people's records, and we may license a version to clinics and health plans. None of that will put the core hour tracking, proof storage, letter reading or reminders behind a payment.
We try hard to deliver every reminder, but we cannot guarantee delivery. Phones get lost, notifications get switched off, networks fail, and carriers delay messages. The reminder is a help, not a guarantee. The deadline is yours to meet, and you should not rely on us as your only way of knowing about it.
We provide the app as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses that follow from using it, including a loss of coverage or benefits. That is not us dodging responsibility for building it well. It is the honest limit of what a record-keeping tool can promise about decisions made by a state agency.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
You can delete your account at any time from inside the app, and everything goes with it. We may suspend an account that is being used to attack the service or to break the law.
If we change these terms we will update this page, change the date at the top, and tell you in the app before the change takes effect.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico and the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
